Promoting Literacy

Located in Cherry Log, Georgia, the purpose of the Craddock Center is to help bring literacy to the children in this area. Children in a nine county area who attend Title One or Head Start programs are given the opportunity to chose a new book provided by the center three times a year. Once a month a group from Mount Zion goes there to help sort and label books, help get the monthly newsletter in the mail, distribute donated books, and at Christmas, gifts of handmade hats and toys.

How You Can Help

During the summer we participate in Camp Craddock. We distribute a breakfast and lunch to the children and have a craft for them to do at Gilmer County Food Bank on Wednesdays during our appointed month.

Join us for this wonderful mission of love.
